Behind Closed Doors is an adults-only self-reflection quiz. Names and answers about intimacy and personal reactions are sensitive. This notice describes what this version actually does.

While you take the quiz

Your names and answers stay in this browser tab until you choose checkout. They are not saved in browser storage. Closing or refreshing the tab before checkout clears them. We ask for your first name or nickname and an adult partner’s first name or nickname, real or imagined. Use nicknames if you prefer. Thirty hypothetical scenarios ask about your reactions to attraction and intimacy. Choose the closest answer; you can stop at any time. No photos or contact details for the named partner are requested.

When you choose a paid report

With your consent, your names and answers are sent to our server to create the report. They are encrypted before storage. We store an order reference, payment-session reference, access-token hash, timestamps and encrypted report inputs. Payment details and email are collected by Stripe at checkout. We do not store card numbers.

Report and email delivery

The report is assembled from our own question framework and written interpretations. This version does not send your answers to OpenAI or ElevenLabs. Resend processes the delivery email, report attachment and private access link. The hosting platform processes requests and stores encrypted order records. These providers may process data outside your country.

Private links and retention

Your report link contains a secret access token. Anyone with that link can read the report. Online access expires 30 days after checkout is started. Expired records are purged when the next checkout runs; immediate deletion is available from the report page. Expiry by itself does not guarantee physical deletion on that exact date. Copies you download or receive by email are outside this website's deletion control.

Advertising and cookies

The public home, privacy, terms and method pages use Meta Pixel to send a PageView for advertising measurement. Meta receives technical information such as the page address, browser information and IP address and may use cookies to associate the visit with its services. Automatic event configuration and advanced matching are not enabled by this site. We do not pass names, quiz answers, results or report content to Meta. The Pixel is excluded from private reports, sample reports and API routes. We do not track quiz steps, checkout or purchases. The hosting service may use essential access or security cookies and process technical request logs.

Your choices

You can stop the quiz without purchasing. After checkout, use your private report link to request deletion. Payment providers retain their own transaction records under their policies. We do not use report emails for marketing.
